Methodology
The data used in the publication are from 2 sources, namely;
- Directly from company; or
- Purchased from the Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
Each year, invitations are sent to companies to submit their financial statements.
This is conducted via direct mail to approximately 8,000 companies on an annual
basis. Companies and SMEs are also invited en masse to participate, through advertisements
placed in The Business Times, leading business dailies or periodicals and year-long
through the official website and channels with our partners like
Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA),
Ernst & Young,
SPRING Singapore and IE Singapore.
